Then we have seven days with 750 km (470 miles) of riding ahead of us until we reach Bonn on Saturday July 24th.

The highest elevation of the tour will be at 731m or 2398 feet. This will be passed on day 1, i.e. on Sunday July 18th. A profile chart of the first stage you can see when you click here.

For all those who are interested please come and see us at the Markt in Bonn (Altes Rathaus) at around 5pm on Saturday July 24th. The mayor of Bonn will officially greet us and hold a little reception.
On August 11th then Oliver Gritz one of the founders of Ride for Reading will embark on his big adventure and cross the US by Bicycle.
